This is a stage prop puppet of a magical talking tree, used in a puppet show production. The puppeteer enters the tree trunk through a concealed hatch in the back, and can then operate the face controls. I don't have a picture from the actual play, as I did not attend that.

Plywood, cardboard, spray foam, insulation foam panels, string, springs and gobs of other odds and ends.
